Barbie's Fashion

I have recently found myself entranced by Barbie. As a figure of a concept I detested at one point, Barbie has proven me wrong on many grounds. No longer is she the superficial, shallow figment of every man's desires but is instead a figure of empowerment for girls and women alike. 

What most recently has caught my eye is the fashion focus of Barbie. I'm sure such a focus has existed for years but this was the first year I saw it in stores. Walking through the Barnes & Noble I was a little surprised when I saw a beautiful sketch on one of the calendars. It turned out to be the 2012 Barbie Fashion Collection Calendar. With 12 gorgeous sketches of Barbie in eccentric attire I'd suggest this to anyone who has an appreciation for fashion.
